During this astronomical event, nearly every place on Earth will experience roughly equal hours of daylight and darkness! (Source)
To celebrate this auspicious global occurrence, I’m preparing a special project… a pledge drive to raise money for obLITTERate!
On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, I will be obLITTERating throughout the day. Those who participate can choose any dollar amount and whether that is for total:
distance covered in miles,
weight of litter in pounds,
time completed in hours,
or a flat amount instead.
